Urbanization-Induced Diurnal Variation in Short-Duration Rainfall Events in Wuhan, China

Increasing of evidence suggests that rapid urbanization modifies precipitation and increases atmospheric instability in urban areas mainly due to heat island (UHI)-induced thermal effects building-induced dynamic effects.
